i wish the date was carved in stone. but i reckon thats the best date.
pros
-right after puasa
-the weekend before the boys leave for the Asian Indoor Games in Macau (26 oct)
-not really keen on pushing it too far into november
cons
-its the first weekend after raya - everyone's gonna be having/going to open houses

i live in seri petaling and always skate there when i'm not working.... those curbs need to be wax cause it's drying out allready.... maybe you should include some more spot like the rail nearby the spot or the stairs at the globe.... the kinked rail at the park/pond are nice.... can't wait for you guys to skate here...

yup we probably need to give it a lot more wax. it moves, can grind lah no problem - but i guess more wax is always good.
the globe is one of our alternative spots, i'll put the pics up in a second.

i would prefer for you NOT to move the dates, coz it'll be easier for me since my leave planner from work is right after that.. so i wouldn't have to go back brunei on the same sunday.
but then again, like keats said, i wish i could say im going and "carved in stone".. but we'll see how it goes...

There are a bunch of spots located within the park - these spots will be used as "ALTERNATIVE SPOTS" - that is, if the man hassles us, we'll move quickly to one of these spots, get our winners quick, and cabut fast fast.

FOR FUN SPOTS: its not all killer tricks on ledges and rails all day. you can also entertain yourself with these pretty interesting obstacles
CRAZY STEEP PATH

its steeper than it looks, the path runs down the whole side of the hill. the gradient is like the starter boxes in a skatepark. no joke.
THE GLOBE: bloody ugly waste of taxpayer's money monstrosity. but pretty interesting for a spot of mushroom rolling.

TIE BREAKERS - to separate the men from the boys. I'd never try this, but then again, I ain't takin part . In the event of a tie in the finals, we'll move on to one of these killer rails. simply put - you finish this, you win.

this is just the second half of the rail, it stretches all the way to the top of the hill. and that last down section is ridiculously steep - dont let the picture fool you.

as you can see,i've waxed the curbs but they actuall y are stil not smooth for long slidings... but still i can see my name there.hehehe......

thats what we thought about the S4S1 ledge.
tengok tengok - most of those dude didnt even need wax to finish the ledge.
but no matter. we'll be sessioning that place every other weekend or so till the event - it should be good by then.
you know we KJ people like our wax. so we'll kasi layan nicely
