SARAWAK OPEN EXTREME CHALLENGE 2006 Organised by Ministry of Social Development and Urbanisation and the Sarawak Extreme Sports Association Date : 16 to 17 September 2006 Venue : Tapak Sukan Extreme Taman Awam Miri, Miri Sarawak Total Prize Money : RM 10,640.00 to be won plus medals and others.
4 Disiplines are offered :-
(1) BMX Stunt Park (2) BMX Flatland (3) Inline Park (4) Skateboard Park
2 Categories each discipline :-
Senior (MainX) 16 years and above Junior (JuniorX) 15 years and below

Sarawak Open (Senior) :-
Champion - RM 700.00 (+ Gold Medal) 1st Runner up - RM 500.00 (+ Silver Medal) 2nd Runner up - RM 300.00 (+ Bronze Medal) Consolations - RM 50.00 x 7 = RM 350.00
Total Prize money for senior = RM 1850 x 4 Disciplines = RM 7400.00
Sarawak Open (Junior)
Champion - RM 300.00 (+ Gold Medal) 1st Runner up - RM 200.00 (+ Silver Medal) 2nd Runner up - RM 100.00 (+ Bronze Medal) Consolations - RM 30.00 x 7 = RM 210.00
Total Prize money for junior = RM 810.00 x 4 Disciplines = RM3,240

This is Taman Awan Skayepark where the Sarawak Extreme Challenge 2006 will be held, It is located near a "Disneyland" type of garden quite close to the airport. Plenty of fresh air as all the surrounding are wooded.

Plenty of these ledges and curbs throughout the Miri resort city. Here some of the ledges and curbs found around the older part of the city known as the High Street. Sick Sick ledges and curbs all over the places.

If you are also a sun and sea freat the Luak Bay beach is just a stone away or if you are a shopping freak Miri has one of the biggest hypermarket in Malaysia called Boulevard plus cheap boozes and liquer plus one damn cool skateshop called Rage Streetwear.
