Hello there people..hear me out..
alright i need some help off anybody whose got some or any comments on what i have got ta ask..and please be honest..whatever your comments are..it will be used for a valid reason..
okay the reason why i'm doin' this is because..i am on a sociology assignment, it is a research based-on runaways-why youths(of a certain age groups) runaway from homes..
i'm here hoping to pick up some details of anybody who wish to contribute any..
your comments are not used upon on any racial, sexual or any sort of discrimination..
here is the question.

eheh. you being a sociology student and all im sure there was a reason why u thought 'rollerbladers' (skaters yadda yadda kids) would be the ones that would run away from home.

sorry dude. aside from that comment - dont think i can really say much bout teenage runaways. ok - lets look at it this way - skaters tend to b how do u say....middle class? i skates arent exactly an item of neccessity (if the prices go any higher - we're sunk man - 1K for skates is way too much) anyway - i digress - so, we arent exactly muflis if u get my drift. so... we arent exactly the runaway kind.


but then again. some are teens and angry. and would have problems....

wo..wo..wo...i aint here thinking that skaters are a bunch of punks or bad asses!
i skate too..and i have quite a number of skating buds in the states..and not many here tho..
a friend of mine told me 'bout this site..and adding, this site has a great combination of age groups..just got in here..asking for some comments..like i said..whatever is given is not used upon any discrimination..i am a sociology student, but it aint my major..its just a minor..and to be someone professional, i believe no discrimination is needed..
i think there was some misunderstanding...
Maybe people has got this thought 'bout skaters act in a certain pattern..but just a slight misunderstanding..

Well, i've a history of running away...i ran away from home a couple of times...

I don't get around with my dad so misunderstandings happens...and prolong misunderstandings make very deep tention between both of us.

Attention, feel neglected...i'm not sure that i can continue here....NAz ...u can interview me....personal matters man!

must be a reason why they run way from home...... it takes 2 to tango.... pressure from peers, parents, enviroment, childhood upbringing.

is skating a place where youth escape to? well it is to me...... when you have a bad day, what do you do? go out, scream, jump all over, do all crazy stuff.... well i skate. meeting up wtih fiends, just having fun.....

well..yeah it does take 2 ta tango...
but i've gathered up some common stuff, that youths have the tendecy to runaway cus they are always abuse in one way or another..
some of the abuse is what u have listed...
but family problems have the highest rate..(not too sure, about the statistics)
females runaway more than guys....and age of those youths who ranaway from homes ranges from 14 to 18...

so any of you here ever thought of running away??
actualy what you(h1ghr...) do is a smart idea..

Parents....who neglect u while ur still a kid....u get adopted by another set of parents who provokes u whenever u do a silly , little, or major mistake..it doesnt matter they will provoke u....pin point ur mistakes each time....even though u learnt ur lesson...they still will bring up old matters...accuse u for not following thier footsteps....now wats wrong in being different...?? wats wrong in havin piercing , long hair, or tattoos? if not now...then when...??when u r working n hav a family of ur own...u wanna hav ur eyebrow pierced...??they just dont understand u no matter how many times u explain to them...they dont give u ur space....they dont respect ur decisions....n the best part is...they wont let u be who u are....dont even let u choose the course u wanna take after spm...instead u HAVE to do what they ask.....

Enviroment n Upbringin....u have a drunk dad....who provokes u...who makes fun of ur intelligence....who is never happy with ur grades.....u hav siblings who gets better stuffs form u coz u r d black sheep of d family....ur siblings who r actually worse tahn u in every possible way,questions u bout ur intergrety,intelligence,respect,attitude etc....but never realise their mistakes....

and almost everyone...disses u for what u are...thinkin they are better off than u in every way coz u r d angry one...thinkin u r younger than them and they know more stuffs tahn u....u live in a world where money is everything.....and day by day u turn into a an animal....huntin for the needs in life....love n money...but ur love life fucks u up in a very bigg way....where do u go...u run...run away to get away form all this bullshiets...but u still cant....coz u hav sumthing holding u back....education....and even tat sumtimes u slack and everyone punishes u for tat....no one will say its ok to fail yet to try again.....u gat a conditional loan to study where u cant fail any subject ...u study sumthang u dunn like but yet hav to pass it coz of ur loan n ur parents who made u do tat course.....n u see all d rich brats around u....rollin wit the money....u want tat too...the only way is ur education coz u aint rich by nature.....n if u runaway now...u r throwin away everythang coz...u hav to study n work.....aint easy as u think it is...some say its easy.....yess...do mass com n work part time.....try doin medic or engineering n work part time...n try not to fail any subjects....n u must get A says ur parents.....

how long can u be sane....soon u'll think of runnin away from life itself.....craizy as some might say....u havent gone thru life fully wat do u noe...well i can say i noe more thangs than anyone my age or any adult.....of coz everyone will say...there he goes bullshittin and boastin again....but not many knows wat i've gone thru...not even my closest frenz.....self experince is d best...well mine is usually d worst....

in life...u should either born rich...or poor...never in d middle class wit an average i.q. ...its not as easy as a frog who gets d benefit of both dry n wet land....

life is about survival of the fittest...if u hav to diss...u hav to....if u hav to kill ...u hav to....even if its ur own....

but to runaway from home....think 1st....make d best use of everthing at home then runn...if u think u can handle outside this world wit no paper qualifications...do it...runaway...if u cant....wait till u get d papers...then run...tats wat im gonna do......

not that it hasnt crossed my mind - but i realise that running away just makes things worse right? better to learn from the mistakes and just try your darnest not to do it again. there'll always b bigger problems down the road , so - save your strength and take it all in strideeeee...

Well Bushman, i have to say I agree with you, almost about everything..at the part u said about how parents forces us to do things we dont like..okay, that is TRUE! i have experienced that before, it is all part of life, but still, nothing my parents did, changed me..they never even agreed on me majoring in Psychology and having a minor in Sociology...so long as u have faith in it..just do it..
if u do realize something when we study, when we focus on the A too much, we don't enjoy the on going process of education, because we just want the freakin A, and doing so, we are not being an active participant but more likely a watcher..I did fairly fine in school..i dont care if my parents demanded A's off me, so long as i had fun, and i did my part as a student.. who says ur smart if u score an A? well tell that person who said it; to say it to my ASS!..but one thing i am lucky is that my parents are pretty understanding, at times..when they should be..

i guess sometimes parents just forget the fact that they were once us..and when we age, we might also forget that we were once a teen..a youth..trying to have some fun..

adding on, for those parents who are total shit! i feel it is best that they can see the shit they are causing..if they can't handle a kid, its best not to have any..and not mess up theirs..
so there should be schools for parents ..and not only us..

but anyway, it is always good to look at everything from a positive perspective..it is pointless to be negative about certain things u know, that can't be of use to u..

and experience is the best teacher..u have to agree with that..
and your not filled with bullshit..if that is what ur mates says! lol
it is just you..be yourself and try not care how others/society judge you..

I think there is a time where we can't bare all the shit we have..we will just find the easiet solution and thats to runaway..but that is not the bet solution..

WE ARE ALL FULL OF SHIT..SO BARE WITH ONE ANOTHERS SHIT..
