well...for me...
80% of my friends are skateboaders due to only a number of inliners here in kuching compared to the skateboaders... i'm cool with them...although most of the time they would say that rollerblading is easy because our boots are under our feets. I couldn't say more cos i just don't care about whatever they say..if i really do care about what they say, i would have been skateboarding by now but i didn't...and that is how i gain my respect from the skateboaders that i used to skate with because i know what i want. i want to skate..i love skating and have fun with it..progress as tiime goes and no one can change that.. i have a passion towards rollerblading and that is why they except me as one of them as a 'skater'...not just like some of those 'poyos' who skated for the sake of the fame...period.

well - - skates are gettin cheaper.
i mean.... a pair of grycon clans at CE cost RM650.

thats what i paid back in 1996 for a pair of K2 Fatty - when the exchange rate was RM2.5=US$1

not as cheap as a complete black brigade deck at CE i know. but hey - cant ask for more lah.

i got some frens that think inline is a easy sport and skateboarding is hard...they havent see the kjrollers rip it out the streets yet.hehehe..and in all the movies now..if ur cool u play skateboard...i havent see a movie wit skates in it..but i find the skateboarders in the skate park frendly..but some of them a realy punks(a bit only)
