I hav dis idea of organising a skate comp more a less like IMYTA and TSB (chek be mag if u want 2 know wut it is). Since AXQ is coming soon, should we have it before or after AXQ??? Give me suggestions!!...

sounds like a good idea...... but its going to require a lot of work. logistic problem banyak......
the police in KL aren't exactly that friendly towards skaters...know what i mean......

Lets put it dis way,
we try to put a contest where it is more like a session. prizes don't matter at the first, but the thing is the ability to conduct the contest and to learn from the mistakes. after the first one, if its succesful, it gets recognition, then only the prizes will get better. so guys, do u think we can try??

we need a skate spot like in PJ, KL....ez to go, not far, less disturbance, n good stuff to skate.i suggest, da final spot will be KJ curbs.

well, i agree, prize doesnt matter, one mcD happy meal first prize also cukup as long as the so called selfmade IMYTA comp is successful.....
just a suggestion
why not we organise among our group of frens as well as others who wanna join to test run a comp....but of course there must be a judge who knows how to judge leh...hmm maybe like all competitor pay lil bit of money to a tabung, then imyta and see who gets the 50,30,20 ratio of the tabung ler ... cuma test test oklar i think:)
spot wise i think can be cari....kj, midvalley, shah alam park that kj rollers always go last time, then err the banks near bushmans place....that will be good enough rite.. just my worthless suggestion, can brush it off if u dont like the idea hehe.

whoah...lets not get ahead of ourselves.
first of all.skaters have to be prepared to a IMYTA Horse format.....
1 skater does a trick....the rest must follow exactly (im not 100% sure if everybody has to do the same way, or some would be forced to do unnatural.
somehow....im not sure if theres enough ppl who can do that yet.....
but ....i guess the international crowd would be there.....haha....so that means they bolot la......
lets just make it a jam session......how bout that..fuck comps.
winner is decided among skaters....iff ppl can be fair enough bout it.

hmm.......kj curbs sounds nice.....but ppl will start talkin......'he won b'coz homeground advantage'......
i say the tabung thingy VOBS suggested is good for starters but not happy meal man..........
BUYOT, ppl wun come so far if there ain't no prizes.......it is a materialistic world........
spots......wat say u.....we start off at the kj curbs......n the grand finale will b at the taman paramount handrails.......

who is dis vobs? juz curious.....  well: 1. obviously da comp couldnt be like IMYTA format. Like sukeats said, not all of us can do dat, n if the international skaters enters, most probably they'll win. It has to be a format where its fair among our own standards n non local skaters wont look down on it. 2. prize thing, well, if we (organisers) can get a establish some good prizes to attract, mayb ppl will come. But im trying to take da advantage of AXQ to attract ppl to come n skate wit us. get wut i mean. 3. tabung thing. its a good idea, but to implement, we need to establish the street session comp so that ppl can trust. wut else is on u guys own mind? |

kan senanng....susah benar nak panggil aku buyot, panggil saja naz.....NAZBUYOT!!!!!YEEEEEHAAAAA!!!
dat wan is a bit susah,
1. crowds (or certain crowds) can be 'berat sebelah'.
2. judges (in my idea) is chosen from skater groups, but the main ones are sukeats, me 'n' kwy. coz when u guys leave nanti, these other judges will replace u guys if there's another Sessions.

I think you guys should have it in a horse format because it is easier...
Some of us dun have enough tricks to have a sesion..
Horse formats sounds nice....
