59 cases were reported but the newspaper only aid 19 suspected cases...2 died liau...
Klang Valley is o'ready been infected. 1 died in Subang Medical Center. (unreported case) it is believed that he got it from singapore.
anyone with the latest news, pls update. i hope this is useful since this matter is getting more serious.
the government are actually trying to cover-up this because reported cases are only those in government hospital. private hospital in city areas are not being disclose.....

Spore is indeed having an outbreak on SARS....unfortunately....
we got infected from those who got it in HongKong/China- either of these countries....
it's kinda serious and our govt r takin serious measures. many schools are already on quarantine & some mudha-f*ckers are havin a jolly gd time cos they're like on holz....
as fer my institution, we jus got a pre-alert letter jus now that our Polytechnic might close down as well!! we still haven't got d confirmed news but guys-
just stay safe okai! if any of u feel tt u haf flu.... feel tired, fever especially those god-damn high ones that reaches up to 39degrees~~ immediately visit ya frenly doctor okai?!??
erm.... dun stay ard crowded areas wit ppl coughin or sneezin on ya!! *eeeww*
perhaps u guys can still skate..... but make sure d skate park dun haf any infected bikers/skateboarders... *giggles*

da worst thing is, I take public transport everyday to skool......
1st, da bus from shah alam to central market, kl.
2nd, da LRT from central market to ampang park....
im gonna get myself a mask.....

i heard that lots of singaporeans are in taking holiday in M'sia.... most of them are in melaka......cheap

yesh... alot of students wants the skools to close down... but not me! i din petition... cos (well, not to be a wet blanket) i jus wan skool to go on and not disrupt my June Holz... d skools which are closed down, d students will hafta go back durin holz !! i haf oni a few more wks left so i tot might as well get it over and done with~~  |

Singapore has closed its schools and quarantined 945 people in a bid to contain an outbreak of the yet to be identified SARS bug, which has so far infected 95 people and killed four in the republic.
Tuesday, health authorities directed the Ngee Ann Polytechnic closed for three days from today as a 20-year old student there is suspected of having the illness. His mother died at the NUH on Monday.
Education Minister Teo Chee Hean ordered the 13,000 students at the Clementi Campus to stay home while health authorities tried to trace everyone who might have been near the student when he was there last Wednesday.
The minister said that from now, his ministry would impose a three-day shutdown at any school where a student or teacher was believed to have SARS.
Last week, he announced all schools up to junior college closed from March 27 until this Sunday. He did not close the polytechnics, universities and institutes of technical education, and that led to immediate protests from students who felt that they also needed protection from SARS.

just now i received an sms from a friend, said that local tv in indo broadcast that
Nan Yang University has done research thamway bio c calc mg & garlic can pseudo SARS....
I dont know man..... damn scared...
and one more thing, this is real...
my mom's friend's daugther, coming back frm S'pore
and once she reached Kelantan, KB, cos she has flu, she is now in the hospital for no reason, some authorized staffs just caught her and closed her in the hospital and didnt even allow her parents to talk to her, heard that she is closed in a box, donno what box also lah... damn it....
so, warning.... if anyone's relatives or friends coming back with flu, better watch out... my bro in spore planning to come back this week, but he scared also la, hahaha..... well.... that's all i know..... take care buddies~~!!!!
