Singapore's not gonna kill any of u & trust me- it's a great place to skate with many enthusiastic skaters young and old~~~

hahaha i gotta say i loved that yprelaunch. haha. lots of memories.were those the best runs of the day? while watching this i was thinking to myself why is this in there? and bala really cracked me up. what is with the hair bala? all of a sudden i see a lil indian guy who cant find his own hand with huge lion hair. (psst if u cant find your hand just skate semi naked like u usually do? drive all those gurlz WILD!)  loved it loved it. great memories. |

why must inline skates have 2 be more expensive???
thats the main prob for the newbies to start and in the end they start to board and skateboardin nowadays is more majority than the inliners and bikers......
wats are we suppose todo ??

well.many factors contribute to expensive skates in malaysia.
skate prices in america hasnt changed that much a pair of fatties in 1997 cost bout US$250 or so... and a pair of TRS Details are bout the same today. so blame it on our shitty currency. i mean - it costs twice as much today compared to then.
the other thing is. if u wanted cheap skates, there are... go to toys r us. the fact of the matter is - USDs, Razors, TRS etc etc are high end skates. just like buying cars - there are cheap cars.... which can get you from a to b. but to get round better - quickly, safer, looks better, you gotta loosen the purse strings. also - dont forget you can always get the low end aggressive skates such as the grycons, access, gensys...that dont have pro names on it - they are cheaper - though not that much so.
its no point comparing prices with skateboards. some boarders go through 4-5 decks a year - whereas a decent pair of skates 'SHOULD' last you a year. and while on the subject of comparing sports - BMXs cost wayyy more than a pair of skates anyway.
my point - no point bitching bout skate prices. just do your homework and get the skates thats right for you. and be smart bout your purchases - chances are u dont really need those rm20 USD branded laces.
