POSTING PICTURES After the zillionth "how do i post a pic?" request, ive decided to just put the steps up here for everyone's reference.
To post a pic - u first have to HOST the pic somewhere else. The message board does not have any "space" to hold pictures. What it does is provide a link to the picture.
If the picture you want to post is already online - as in from another site like be-mag or whathave you, skip the next section and go the end of my post.
Hosting your pictures Load your picture on a server. You can try freeservers such as tripod.com or geocities etc. First thing you got to do, if you dont already have a tripod account is start one up. Follow the instructions. Once ready, click on the flie manager tab, under the build and edit section. Then choose the "single file (8)" function at the "upload via" tab.
Follow the instructions. Do type in an extension name as well in the "rename" field.
Now your picture should be up on the server, click on the link and it should open in a new page. The URL (thats website address to you and me) is what you need to copy.
Posting the picture on the message board Reply to the thread as you would normally would. at the "Add Tags" section above the reply field should contain a row of buttons. The second row fourth from the left is the 'post picture' button
click on it and you should see this
"[ img]URL"
replace "URL" with the URL of your picture thast being hosted either by your own free server or from some other website.
should look like this
"[ IMG]http://yoursite.tripod.com/yourpic"
and the post your reply.
End of story
