Tell you guys a Joke,
Ok, so this guy walks into a skateshop to buy some wheels. He meets a flat skater (on the right), & a freestyle skater (on the left). Then the shop owner asks himb]what setup are you gonna ride?[/b]
The right guy says flat grips better for rolling, while the guy left says freestyle slides better for grinds and shuffles.
Then Righty says flat is more manoeuvrable for better control, while Lefty says freestyle is more stable for landing gaps.
Flat is faster because of more wheels & bearings
Freestyle is lighter because of less wheels & bearings
Flat makes your wheels last twice as long, so it's cheaper
Freestyle means using half as many wheels, so it's cheaper
Sean Kelso front torques ledges with flat, so why skate freestyle?
Chris Farmer can roll anything freestyle, so why ride flat?
Freestyle is cheating, flat is the only real way to skate
Flat is dead, freestyle opens the door for a new style of skating
Skating is being destroyed by dumb kids with no style trying to grind trees freestyle
This flat-focker is just pissed cos he can't drop hammers like I can
