in the end it doesn't really matter. people that follow trends should be shot. dont like something just because other ppl like it. like it because you like it. if you like wearing tight pants. wear them. if you dont, dont wear them. but just because you dont like it doesn't make it shit. different ppl have different tastes.
people just like putting stuff into categories. its either one or the other. god forbid that you can like both rock and hip-hop. omg the horror

wear as you wish. it's the man that makes the clothes, not the other way around. i wore my worst clothes to skate when i first started and still do today. as long as you are comfy in it, then go right ahead.
there is no doubt that all of us are heavily influenced by the media. that pair of puma/nike/adidas/pallas/bata/kikilala/powerrangers shoes of yours are an effect of marketing, advertising and the power of media persuasion.
your own style will find you. may it be prada, bata or lala

hi im a friend (cough cough) of harrys he told me to look at this site like ages ago and im lazy so i only looked at it now... no i dont skate (i try when im drunk and end up killing myself... and leaving about an inch of skin on the ground) but this article kinda got my attention.... so ill have a anti social rant... people are gonna label you no matter what you wear... its never about talent.... im not showing off right but i play the harp n i practised for 3 hours for 2 years to get into the national youth orchestra... i got in after 4 rounds of auditions, and then i dyed my hair pink... and got kicked out... i was apparently "too extroverted" for them all these new wave lets jump on the bandwagon "emo" kids are just commercialisin it up... emokid has now become the indie rock kid of 2002.... it gets on my tits man.... i hate seein all these rockers that wear the exact same things.... if you get dreads your gonna be called rasta if you wear cons your gonna be called rocker if you wear pimp hats your gonna be called a hiphop wannabe.... stop labeling ppl bcos of what music they like... its not worth the effort.... corporate companies see that there are rich kids out there with a need to fit in... so they market and advertise like crazy to brainwash you and tell you whats in and whats out... and then they go and spend there money on something different everytime something new is advertised... it doesnt take alot of thinking to work out were all being bollocksed for our money.... fuck that was long... well im finished now... ill probly never go on this site again.... but think about it b4 you waste your money on the "newest and best" thing you see in a magazine... peace isabel  |

ipod is the perfect example of consumerism.... ill get around to penis's later....
companies make it real pricey so most ppl cant really afford one.. then they use peer pressure (jesus i sound like a school counsellor...) and then everybody begs borrows and steals to get one.... and make the ppl who dont feel like gobshites... hahaha unlike me... i have a tape player thats held together by selotape and chewing gum and a funny white substance... lets not go there.... it has one earphone that works and a ramones tape in there that you cant get out of it....
penis's yeah? size most certainly matters
and is that pick someones hand weighing? their balls?.... hhhmmm....

Assuming your friend invited you to coffee and then he said take your pick the Starbuck or a typical Chinaman kopi tam and its all on him which would you go?
Assuming your mom is back from the US and she calls you and said son I am getting you a rollerblade for Christmas what brand do you want would that be a Sorpion or a Razors?
Assuming today is your girlfriend's birthday and she too is a rollerblader and she always wanted to have a pair of shoes would that be a pair of Sifika or cap burut?
Does brands and styles matter?
