The Borneo X-treme Games will be happening on the 2nd November(first place rm2,000)...
Sarawak X-tour is in July and will be stopping at 5 big city Kuching, Sarikei, Sibu, Bintulu and Miri.
Another skate comp is happening on September at Miri...

about the Borneo-X games... the ministry is sending down their so called or maybe definate malaysian squad to represent. me, the plastic man (sanjit) is coming down on his own to represent HIGHROLLER. im flying down on the 30/10/02 and leaving on 3/11/02 (flight details yet to be confirmed). i could use some assistance there as i've never been to sarawak before.

Bushman had just came back the Borneo X Games trip. The trip was weird so he say..... Ok lets rephrase that, the trip was bullshited! After talking on the phone with him earlier today, I just couldn't resist running an interview with him to get a lo-down on this matter. It's entirely our opinions on the system.... Not many knew what happen, but hey this is one side of the coin. You want to know the other, ask the organisers. Who is right, who is wrong..... we really don't know. I just think that this matter should be highlighted. So here it goes....
H: So you placed 5th. How does that make you feel?
B: Not much of a difference but hey, I'm happy and content with it.
H: What are the placers?
B: 1st was Ed, 2nd was P. Lewis of Spore, 3rd was Bak, 4th was Chong Li of Spore and myself 5th.
H: So I heard that Boy PJ and Joe Ipoh came up to you and congratulated you for coming out third at different times before the results were out. And they weren't joking were they?
B: I was shocked myself cause when I look at the computer screen when they were typing the results, I was 5th.
H: So why would Joe and Boy said that to you?
B: At first I really had no idea. I assumed they thought that I would place third if they would have judged me. But later I heard a whole different story from Sanjit and Poji about why Boy and Joe congratulated me and why I end up being 5th and not 3rd. (ed's note: Poji was head judge)
H: So what did Poji say to you?
B: On the last day, he came up to me and say that I was supposed to be 3rd but somewhere along the way, I came out 5th.
H: But he as the head judge didn't do anything. By not doing anything, it does seem that he supported the final result instead of the REAL result.
B: Well I know where I stand in the skater community. I know who is better than who. I know who has more balls to throw a trick. But hey there was a 1000 dollar at stake here.
H: Did Sanjit do anything or have a say in this?
B: Even he said that the result was tempered but he didnt bring the matter up. Like I said money was involved but I had more fun chilling with Chong LI and Lewis.
H: So final say?
B: I was happy yet sad not only cause of the competition but paying a bit more for my new tattoo and also loosing 2 pair of my boxers.
H: Thanks B.
B: No probs man.

Yo Bala...(if you're reading this)  I'm so sorry for what happening in the comp... I also heard the judge(from KL) were trying to make thier own friends to win especially for the skateboarders..Mariss Khan was trying to make Padin to get third but they cannot cheat the other judges..they argue until the comp was finished.. I heard all of this from the sarawakian judges and I don't even know what happen to the inliners.. Yeah, I do think that in this matters that money involved. Anyway Bal, thanks for everything..I had so much fun on that 2 fine days with you guys..  |

If i remember correctly, isn't local festivals all about visiting, maybe bring some munchies and wishing the person celebrating the festival rather than waiting for an invitation in your mail or The Red carpet to sweep ones royal feet? Aiya, Raya coming soon what. I am sure y'all got invited by tha boss. |
