I just got burned in a bad way. Am I pissed off, yeah, a little. I suppose I should put off writing this until I calm down but I won’t. There is a small possibility that some of you may have seen photos of a few skates from USD/Deshi that was slated for a 05 release. I obtained these pictures from an undisclosed source which, for all purposes of this article, will remain anonymous. I recently have received phone calls from both Davee Blair and Scott Walker of USD pertaining to these skate images and to my surprise they were quite upset. I fully admit it was my intention to get “the scoop” on USD’s 05 lineup, but my goal was not to maliciously hurt company revenue or disclose trade secrets as was ridiculously touted by my accuser. Let make a few things clear for the record. I did not obtain these photos from anyone employed by/skating for USD, Big Dan Importing or Powerslide. I stated in a comment following the posting of these photos that I obtained these pictures from Scott Walker. This was not accurate, or true, but was offered as a commitment to the photos accuracy. Admittedly it was a stupid thing to do, and Scott has my sincerest apologies.

It should also come as no surprise that skaters want to see new product. They want to see concepts and be involved in the process. Let me just say, allow us to be involved! I may have taken the brut of your anger but I refuse to be the one to blame. Threats and blacklisting my efforts to PROMOTE you and your products will not succeed. I don’t make a cent from this stupid ass site and I’m not in the habit of getting yelled at for someone else’s mistakes. You can’t begin to appreciate the time, effort, energy, and money I put into promoting rollerblading AND it’s products. With that said, I will continue to subject myself to this bullshit till the day I die. That’s my promise to you. I committed myself to this little project long before you were making money off of me or my friends. -®
