k2 express?
damn - thats old.
well - anyway - the old k2 recreational buckles are different from those found on USDs/Razors and other aggressive skates.
but u can still buy them and put them on with some modification - they should work.

welll... these skates are still awesome. abec 5 - and after so long, still a smooth ride for recreational skating. (harris, dude, aim too darn old to go back into aggro skating. been a while) Just those darn buckles. went to cool elements, but the guy said was hard coz k2s and USD buckles are different. Any suggestions? either that or I take up someone's suggestion of converting the buckles to velcro straps. sukeats - don't mind explaining how to modify them buckles? would appreciate the advice..

first up = u chose the wrong person to use the ol "too old" excuse. cus haris is 33 this year (approx) and has two kids...and still skates hard hehehe.
as for the fixing up of the skates.
well - what u can do it completely remove your old buckle - either break the rivets or cut them - using pliers or what ever.
and then get the USD buckles - and drill new holes if necessary to line up with the holes in the USD buckle. then fasten with screws.
mind u - this isnt an exact science - so try and modify as required.
