I don't know if this hasn't been asked before. But here goes.It seems to me like the number of skaters are decreasing.Where I skate there only TWO skateboarders and if it wasn't form my friend I'd be the only inliner. It seems like in the whole area there only FOUR SKATERS.Isn't that odd?Where is everyone else?

i know dis probably wont b an answer to ur question, but its probably d way to keep d sport alive, right here, in malaysia.
like every advice i give whenever asked, i have only one (like "jump higher!"): just skate. i skate for myself. those 2 boots are on my feet. the balls im gonna burst are mine. eventhough im away from skating for days, weeks, months (never reached years yet), when im back rolling & attempt suicide with my skates, i fall in love all over again. so, if u probably feel d same, maybe it wont dissappear at all... u never know.

Not for it wont..eventhough tight up with work, family, rain or shine whenever i find the time definitely i'll sk8 n have fun. the point is dont let all this factors pull us down..like no people to sk8 with..fact is go to the place where people like to go n jam..like now with the shitty weather..you always have mt kiara or even build your own p rail n park it in front of your house, room or whatever..no matter what you'll hv ur sk8 by ur side all the time. Rollerbladin is ur life man..u spend so much n endure pain during sk8in n its such a waste just to let ur sk8 rot under ur bed. Another thing is travel man..see new faces, new spots..jeez theres so much to it man..

I still skate once in a while, for fun, to sweat it out, to release tension, to catch up with friends, when wife balik kampung/bz. Well, i would agree that session frequency decreased alot, lesser nite skating, no more early morning session, but amount of skater will not decrease much as its still fun when ure still able to bust some move eventhough it look rusty and funny

Well, i would agree that session frequency decreased alot, lesser nite skating, no more early morning session, but amount of skater will not decrease much as its still fun when ure still able to bust some move eventhough it look rusty and funny again - that'd sound stupid coming from anyone else. but from a on-off old timer skater like vince - its got mad credibility
