well its hard because you always look back at certain skates and think they were awesome, but when you try them again, you wonder what you were thinking.
but i'd have to say, salomon.
they're super light, slide awesome, huge new souls, amazing liners, solid design, fantastic flex, nice buckles and compact design.
i think quality and price wise they really blow away the competition.
