this picture brings me back - - - - - i remember seeing the fatty soul for the first time and thinking "goddamn they ve huge, i don't think they'd ever make a soul larger than that. Why would they need a larger soul?" and now take a look at how small the heel of the soul is compared to skates like the widebodies

i dont think when it comes to rails and stuff, that kids actually need bigger souls. but it all comes down to confidence. a bigger soul means you'll try more tricks.
im not a fan of big souls, but i know that for some tricks they're neccesary.
