hey guys, i met up with Brooke HS. I showed him the KJ Roller site. went to his hse and his working place where he runs poynter, england and his band and afew website. he is super cool but also a major drinker. their whole conversation with a fren which was also at his hse was just about drinking for the whole 2 hours.
i've got some pics but i will only process them only when i get back to Wanganui. they ae ging to have a regionals here this weekend.
vince, they dont have any UFS here. Dustin gav his UFS Thrones to Brooke. They are super dope. you guys have to get them. very solid feel too.. the cufss are thiss the old thrones cuffs but the boot is spuer solid, soul and negative very big, the bakslide groove is a lil shallow. colour is not too shouting. the louie colour could be cool too but when they get dirty, i'm not sure.

one thing that i really respect u guys most...its the ability to blend in to someone that u barely see or speak with. how u guys do it? i cant maybe because of my command in english or maybe im just a chicken shit:)
like me, if u were to put me in yengs place, i wouldnt know what to say or what to ask from BHS....maybe it will last a minute or two then i rather chow back home....yeng, keats or whoever, one day i really need ur coaching on how to blend in to a society...really im serious!!
anyway yeng, thanx for everything...no ufs, nevermind, thinking of quitting anyway...kinda hearing the old bones shouting at me nowadays.
wow, DL gave BHS skates hmmm, when can we all get skates from the pros....sigh maybe ask him to sign an autograph for me...maybe on my pic yeah before i quit hehehe

haha....not quite man.......i'm not that kinda person.
i can talk to SOME ppl but...if im not too keen on a person...i langsung dont say a word...so....no..i dont think you should be askin tips for blendin in frm me.
old skateboarder story?
aiya..well....the gist is that we know of this ol skateboarder...donno.probably mid30's? i dunno..but he still skates now and then....and you can see the experience in his skating.....eviable position that guy is in. so its not surprise that i'd like to be like that when i get older.....skatin wont take a huge chunk of my spare time anymore...but it'll definately have a special place.
ritghts....my point to u vincent......fuckin dont quit u moron....who am i gonna skate with next time then if everybody starts quitting?!

hey vince, what is this crap you are taling bout man. blending in is whatever man. when i see them, i just feel like i'm a kid that is all. like when you meet your superhero or something like that. ask whatever that comes to your hear. have no sense of shame is asking questions. you dont ask you'll never know. on that quitting thing. hey fuck man. hey all the pros are in their late 20's. i heard that brooke is 30 and they are all still skating. and keep in mind that they have skated longer than us. quitting is just not the right word. slowing down seem all more subtle isnt it. hey i havent skated since i got to NZ and it's very demotivating but keeping in mind that you grew up with it. it's got a special place in you. it made part you. i know that i will keep on skating evn if i'm too old for it and i dont mind little kids laugh at me for being too old for doing it but hey at least i know i've gone through alot more than them. all the roadtrip, all the mamaks after skating, getting hasseled by securities, talking all day about how to fix up your skate. dreaming what o do evn if it's out of my imagination. you get me vince. i just had a conversation with fras and we are like planning a roadtrip when we get back to M'sia. i'm going to buy a dv and start taping nad make our own vid wit proper editting. get thet-shirds running. yes naz i know i've been procrastinating. you get me here? |
