he was a pro.... selected by the skate associatioin there in Canada.... if Pa'Din or JoEpoh had the chances to go or stayed there maybe they will had that titled too..

personally, i say, if you've got a company paying you to skate or rep their clothing, you're a pro.

personally, i say, if you've got a company paying you to skate or rep their clothing, you're a pro. correct... if there a company pay you to skate and endorse their product then you're pro. gettin money from skatin. if you just endorse their product but not gettin any money then you're am. if they just giving you stuffs and doesn't say you ride for them or not then you on the flow team. Correct, nowdays there are many "pro" locally but the point which "pro" is gettin money from their sponsor and live with it. Now, even ams gettin paid by their sponsor. In skateboarding, board sponsor decide wether you're ready to go pro or not. There is no certificate say "ABU YOU'RE PRO". When they screened your name on the board then you're pro and get royalties from board sales. And the rest of the sponsors will follow to pay. If they refuse to pay cause of budget, don't think you're pro yet, etc then they kicked you out or they let you go. i don't know how Calvin got pro, but if he tellin people he's pro then he's pro... i don't care. Pro is just a title, to all my friends. Let our skating talks... Enjoy. |
