We all know the story Chinaman, Revo ripped off a lot of people, and now boy, along with most skateboarders hate the editor/mag.
Every time I go into a magazine shop and see Revo I always hide it at the top behind all the sailing mags.
The boycott lives on.

read all the discussion somewhen in climax forums... don't make like is me who start boycott Revo thing..1st was Pa'Din, fadzly, Mariss, Ian, Narul, Janggoat, Adli, Me, That, Chi, Haizan and more..... Notice the mag still mentioned the skateboarding magazine while inside full of others extreme sports and even basketballs and stuff.... Last 2 issues, Adam the owner modify Fuad (HUYO) interview by saying that Revo is the best magazine..the question was sumthing like "Which local magazine that u like?" Actually the questioned were never asked.... there's lots more....try get info about G.Reena the mysterious female editor of Revo with an Indonesian actrees pic on the editorial (Sophia Latjuba), who the hell is saint sinamon? what happen to Adli skateshop, ....... Well., when is Adam gonna pay all his debt to all of us...  That's the main reason.... it's sad to see kids paying to buy the magazine all becoz of the hard working Revo staff but at the end we didn't get paid up.... can u imagine? Didn't get salary for 3 months...how are we gonna pay our house rent? Is is Revo really broke? Nah... they get lots of money from ads and even Adam start the mag from some well known person and he's from a rich family... notice the BE Elements ads laying around Revo mags few months back? Well Revo get 90K cheques from Be Element for 1 year contract ads...guess what? Their advert marketing didn't get paid..not a single percentage.... 90K!!! wasn't that enough to pay Pa'Din 5k...Adli 1K + salary, ian, mine as wells...... and just for your info, we didn't force anyone to boycott revo but we just give the info about it and let them to decide wether they want to support or not... it their CHOICE..no FORCE were being used... |

One of the highly unethical means the mag (revo) resort to make quick money is by using professional skater pictures which downloaded from the internet and splash them across their mag using the pro image to advertise and promote certain local brands. (Without the permission and knowledge of the pro-skaters) This is dubious practise and and to a unknown skater it would appear that the real pro actually endorse the local products but actually it is not. Every issues are full of them perhaps Panpanhansem can explain to your readers which are the ones so readers will not be dubed. |

Kindly refer to Zone 5 as they said they were the licenced dealer of all sole techonology such as Etnies, Es, Emerica and others.. most of the pro rider pic were Sole pro rider so i can't really say wether Zone 5 have the authorized to use any Sole pro riders image for other mags or not..or that's between Revo and Zone 5...
all i can say is that most abroad news and pic were stolen from Transworld magazine and some were from Active Distribution.. I know few peope from Active and TWS...they didn't know bout all these permission or licensed to post any of their article in Revo mag.... I know it coz i asked them.. Revo never gets the permission...
