X Games mag might change its name but this is not my company decision but before they asked me too so i guess i rather ask anyone here who have a brilliant idea about givin new name... Problems? Well check the editorial part 1st and 2nd issue...  |

No offence but for once I completely agree with you.
Tell your boss don't be a cheap skate.
How about throwing a contest on Kjrollers like :
NAME THE MAG contest
Best NAME win two years free subscriptions to "whatever" is the new name mag.
Common Xpapan this is sure a more exciting thing for us all to do.
The next thing I want to hear is "YES!"

i thought of doing that but can't u read..this post hasn't concern by my office yet so how should make the contest now... all desicion must be clarify with my boss...
and offcourse X Games name does sucks...liek i said...read 1st and 2nd issue of the editorialpart then u will know...coz i myself completely disagree with the name...
Thanx for your honest view and also the contest suggestion...i have thought bout it..but all depends on my boss...

wheels is a name of a car magazine lah...
.....yup.... no point suggesting names and post in on msgboard...
like what chinaman said "name the mag contest" ... that should be the way.
Firstly, u get a wider coverage since ppl who dont do extreme spots can participate. Secondly, open the mag to ideas from people outside the scene because you might not know the significants of the result. Thirdly, the person contributing the name is being recognized and not other people getting the credit of benefit. Lastly, i got to go get ready and go to UNI so cannot type anymore

hahah - give boy a break lah. hhe - you riding on his nuts a little too hard chinaman.. In the US contest such as this can offer at least 1 tp 5K (US$$$$$$) cash prize plus other benefits. And they attract entries by the thousands. The decision to name the mag X-Games is not even that of the editor. And to change the name the BOSS is in the dark. So the editor is asking Kjrollerians to give me names for which the BOSS might not even consider since they are still in the dark. Kjrollerians might just post a million names but still the BOSS might not consider as they are still in the dark. What is the point of all this if it is just to satisfy the editor's urge for a name change but unwilling to discuss properly with the BOSS and taking Kjrollerians for a ride of their lives. Commonlah be reasonable. I have seen unsold X-Games being returned to the publisher and such returns could have put to better use. |

No..it's not my boss decision..i just wanna get ready..haven't u heard... well, no ones actually know bout this but i guess i'll share with all of you. i have been knowing few people in the ESPN..and recently my colleague have pass the mag to them in korea and they were so suprise with the name. But before sending them the mag i've already told them the mag name was X Games mag (maybe they think i'm make fun of them). They going to call me soon since ESPN team now in Indonesia. These things had been told by Mariss before the 1st relese of the mag...i've told my management and they don't want to listen coz as they said it was approved by KDN... Now ESPN Singapore might want to speak with us soon and i know they want us to change the name since X Games is their trademark and registed by them. So, before they wanted us to changed and also before my boss told me to get a name..so i guess i rather start to get a new name now and not in the last minute... Yes the name was registered before i work with them..the approval had been already there for 2 months before i work with them...so....nothing much i can do...to chage the name might take a while.. SUE us? No, i've know ESPN and they won't do that...they also told Maris bout this since i was not there..offcourse they can do that but..there's also 2nd chance... the only matters now is the name...unless my boss really stuborn la...at the moment we are waiting for them to call and also reply e-mails from them.... No ones really know bout this except Maris..but heard Maris already told a lot of people that day in the Time Square come...so i guess there's nothing wrong sharing this....soon or later you guys will know about it too... |

Yeah my boss kinda dumb ..all of us are dumb and you are mr.perfect ...
If u are comparing my boss with Revo boss...well they are far way different...my boss start this company without any experience and he had a restoran called PUTERA Tom Yam before stared doing a publishibg company...so u know what type of person he is...a Kampung guy dude...
Actually i'm not worried bout ESPN coz this is not my company..but that doesn't mean i won't take the responsible since i write for the mag...
Just need a letter from ESPN for KDN so that we can change the mag name..that's it..nothing big or serious here...that's what i'm waiting from them..a conversation and a letter....
then maybe i'll discuss bout this contest thing... now i'm just waiting from ESPN....
