im assuming you're talking about Aggressive skates. set aside a budget of at least RM800. you dont necessarily have to buy the most expensive skate out there...though it wouldnt hurt. but best tip for beginners would be to buy something relatively low end and affordable - have all the necessary features - UFS compliance, decent liner, replacable parts etc. stay away from pro model skates (they tend to skate more). example of relatively low end, entry level skates USD Grycons USD Realms Xsjado Team Skates Razors Genesys (or Icons) Razors Cults Most of them aren't available here in Malaysia - though you can get some decent usable skates for a good price at Cool Element @ BB Plaza KL and/or Skateline Taman Tun. The K2 Fatty UFS isnt that bad an idea either - relatively cheap (if they still have them). best to visit both these shops and check out their range. most skates can handle a relatively broad range of terrain - rough roads, cement, etc etc. so i wouldnt really worry about that if i were you. as for online shops - here are my favourites - www.inlinewarehouse.com, www.aggressivemall.com and www.grindhouse.eu. but do make a note that shipping can be quite expensive (roughly US$100 per skate - thats sometimes more than half the price of the skates itself). contact Edosh on the message board to get some pretty nifty deals of Aggressivemall if you really want to buy stuff online. good luck

sounds like normal wheel wear and tear to me. as you progress you'll learn to change the way you skate, and cause less damage on your wheels.
no cults in malaysia - unless you want second hand that is.

rollerblading is easy... but not THAT easy. some discomfort is normal in the beginning.
check the TRADE section on the message board - basically what you see is what you get. dont think there are many second hand ones around.

aggressive skates have smaller wheels and are a little slower and provide a more rigid support to protect your ankles from landings.
god...you sure ask a lot of questions...when are you buying your skates?
