Samarinda is a city located on the south eastern part of the island of Borneo in East Kalimantan which is part of Indonesia and Iqbal is one of the many inliners that are slowly emerging from the area.
Samarinda skating scene is growing due to the strong support of its Pemerindah Daerah which saw the emerging of such skatepark like the PKK skatepark in 2006 and in 2007 new additions of concrete park with 4 obstacles like the pyramid, banks, corner quarter and quater which are made of cement.
Samanrinda scene have such a great impact on the scenes in Indonedia that the ISA have selected it as the 1st stop in its National Skate Championship from 2006 and again in 2007.
Although there is no inline shop in Samarinda Samarinda is famous for its great music bands such as Black Eternal Dating, Telor Bumbu and Alone This Holiday plus some surf shops like Joy Surf or Plastic Toys.
Samarinda is really a clean and still is an unexplored city and perhaps we can get great more reporting from Iqbal from the days ahead.

btw..kalau ada event comp bagi kami info..kat sini banyak budak inline tak pernah rasa comp..cuma 1 kali je kat BASE bali bulan yang lalu... ;D
