nope....not retired. im over that company. do you guys know how that company came about?
? i was in germany finalizing the now older usd, and i presented MATTHIAS (who owns powerslide, which makes usd, kizer, deshi, under..i dont know something that makes wheels) with an idea of a boot only company that i was concepting for a long time. i felt that he would be interested, so i layed the whole business plan out. he felt it, and then deshi was created. first thing i did was call my homie randy, to tell him that it was on. so randy and i start this new venture with the highest hopes of making a product that would be fashionable yet functionable. so we go to china make the boot out of clay off of our drawings, and get the first boot done. that first boot was a trial effort to see what our capabilities were, and from that i understood how much input we had when it came down to final production. we made the rest of the skates with the best intentions, but for some reason they always came with a little kink in them. kink meaning HE threw a few extras in there that he thought were gonna be GREAT SELLERS. SIKE!!!! never that.....they always came with a few extra logo placements, off colors, and technology that was not technology, just fancy words. out of respect for my best friend Randy, i am leaving on a good note, with no hate. i hope that they do well, but i am really happy that i can skate on different boots now. i feel that those boots took away from my ability to perform, and that is not OUR fault. for those who think i fell off, im coming out with a video for christmas this year including all the people that i have came up with, and respect. this video will not include the newest of kids that have the hype.......it will include rolling from our perspective, and how being over 20 is bullshit. thank you for your support, you people from be-mag have always had my back, and for that reason is why this video is gonna drop with authority. tell them to stop selling those deshis with my name on it please!! thx LZ
