AL Dolega - haha i got snaked on posting pics of these. i wanted to wait till we had something that looked more like the finished plates will but hey this is cool too.
these are the very first proto's our machinist made up on his own (with very little guidance from me, hence the the goofy angle/small surface area in the front) last october or november i think?
i sent them to JC and he skated them till he switched to remz a couple months ago, he totally loved them so i think the final versions will be quite well-received. unfortunately this is all waiting on rollerblade to send us midsoles and inserts in each size for measurements and such.....
and no, we're not working on inserts for the old-style midsoles, as they're a much much more complicated shape, which means a lot more machining, which would mean too high of a retail price. we are expanding our CNC capabilities this summer, however, so we might be able to squeeze them in eventually, we'll see.
