last friday, myself, bala, eric and sanjit were at kj park. and in view of the recent crime* in that area, we have been officially warned by the authorities that our acts are a destruction of public property. we were in line of getting a compound but after using a small part of bring to outwit them (MPPJ) we got off.
point is, we have been warned and anyone who is caught skating there (even having a pair of skates on) will be compunded (theoratically but you should be able to work your way out).
*my dad's friend, the dentist that was killed at the park over by the Commonwealth Monument by the LDP side. there are now cop cars and MPPF patrols there.

in relation, i would like to express my anger at our very own society for being so ignorant. we malaysians need someone to die before any actions are taken. and believe me, this all of a sudden of importance will only last the next 4 months. look at the snatch thieves. the rapes. the road rage/ killing in broad day light.
i'm challenging all you who are reading this to be less ignorant. the govenment is fucked up enough. if we are not going to do anything, don't even expect them to nudge their fat overfed sweaty asses.

yes i am sad for what has happen and to me it's my official death of the place. gone are the days of carefree. it was 10 years ago when I set foot there with close friends of mine which i still keep today. and kj was this close friend of mine. the days when skateboarders and rollerbladers and bmx guys would all bust themselves there.
and even with the nation's worst hit haze many years back, we would all still come out. the days when on a sunday morning, us inliners and skateboarders would build a ramp somewhere else and transport it over. where my teenage memories are 50 percent from this very park.
but with all said, i will not give up on this friend of mine. and this friend of ours have been really protective. no one has ever had a serious injury from this place. nothing broken but hearts only. a place where believes transcends all borders. where a harmony of the malaysian fusion of malay, chinese, indian, singh and eastern malaysia is of it's true meaning and not what RTM tells you what it is. a place where all continents has once sat here.
NO I WILL NO LET SOME FAT SMELLY WET ARMPIT MIDGET WHO IS OVER NOURISHED BY LARD WHO'S NOSE RESEMBLES A PIG'S TO STOP ME SKATING WITH MY FRIEND AT MY FRIEND'S.

before we start crying over our milk... fret not. its happened before. remember the commonwealth games 98? we didnt go to KJ for 1 year. they ripped the whole place apart (and built it back). and, we came back as well. this issue isnt a big thing - in 3 months they slide back into ther usual malas state. heck - things are better now - cause we got other spots to go to now - and its not like we've been goin to KJ all that often in the last coupla weeks (yes, the amos bros are probably mightly glad over that). so...dont worry - we'll just go to arena or wherever else while the authorities enjoy thier rare moment of semangatness. we'll be back, as always.
