the idea was thought up by Stefan Horngacher

the idea was to take some of the material out of the walls of the frames in order to make them lighter but the strength of the frame would remain

he also wanted more material on the side of the frames at the bottom

final touches made to the CAD drawing, more curved at the ends of the frame, thicker frame walls now 7.5mm, there strongest frame to date the 3rd Generation frame walls were only 6mm
