Crypic clues [Fri 14th Sept] Just for those of you who didn't already work it out, our man Rupert Morgan from Kingston tells us that there is a book named 'The Rats of Nimh' and because of the links between Jon Elliot and Brian Shima's new boot company and their distribution company 'Rat-Tail distribution' this is the most likely reason for the name of the new skate. It's all about the rats see! There is still no date announced for release of the new project but we can't wait for Shima to get his rat out!from: www.locoskates.com/

NIMH is a high end boot hand designed by Brian Shima, and manufactured with precision and detail. This skate is made to perform at a professional level.
Free Groove System
The NIMH soul plate is designed to adapt to your personal skating style. Most skate companies lock you into a pre-set groove….NIMH does not. We advise skating a mildly waxed ledge for 1-3 hours to create your own custom groove.
Unconstrained Toe System
All NIMH skates come with a standard boot skeleton minus the excess of toe material found in most other brands. This allows for more breathing room and eliminates toe pain while skating.
NIMH is 100% skater owned and operated. This company was created by skaters for skaters and will be run accordingly. Its time you choose your side!

Shima has come back from the Nimh Factory with a suitcase full of Nimh Skates. Expect final photos of the skates as well an edit of Shima's trip to the factory within the next few days. Also if you will be at the AIL comp at Woodward you can see Shima skating them. Jon Elliott will be in attendance walking around with a pair of skates for you to check out.www.rollernews.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=22789
