What do people think of a qualification style format for this event? it would be something like this: we would specify a spot some kind of rail or gap, and those who wanted to qualify for the SFC in august would have to go to the spot and capture on film themselves or their friends doing the stunt, and the first three people to submit the footage would qualify. These qualifiers would be held ideally once every 2 weeks in the build up to the event and locations and photos would be put up on the site.

how many skaters do you see with cameras?
that format will unfairly penalise skaters with no cameras.
not to mention a big headache when it comes to logistics of tapes gettin in time - returning the tapes etc etc.
______________
either we stick to the traditional jam format.
or we find somthing else.

n not to mention other ppl from other countries... i mean like if singaporean or bruneian or other countries wana join, that means we haf to go to malaysia prior to the event, n on the event itself....its ok if ppl haf lots of money, but not all are like that... not all haf lots of money....

whos to say there wouldnt be spots chosen in singapore? hell theres xgames qualifiers all over the world!
i still think this can work. but it does need a bit more thought. Maybe if we selected spots prior to the event and had people go down with the specific intention of filming. I know i'd go down jsut for the session. So that way not only would we be getting footage and getting people qualifying, we'd also be starting regular sessions.
Hell, we might not even need a camera, we could just send down a reliable rep to watch the trick happen.
