Do you want to know why the mag have disintergrated to such a low level.
From the selling price of RM 7.90 (The peak) and plunge to RM 5.00, why?
Did you all noticed any other strange things that 's happenings inside this mag?
Did the mag really started as blade haters?
Or do they love bladers now?
Is it really true that they at 50 issues is still No#1?
Are you keen to know?

it isnt easy running a mag (malaysians are exactly all that keen on reading), and for them to consistently put an issue out for almost 5 years deserves recognition.
so what if their prices fluctuate?
so what if they used to hate bladers? emphasis on "USED TO"
its not the best magazine in the world - i must admit - but i give credit where credit is due.

We know skateboarders out there who are really nice people such as Joe, Kieran, Maris and many more but technically we don't really care if 'Revolution' hates rollerbladers.
KJROLLERS is giving credits to them as a publication house. In the publishing industry, the first 2 years are really hard times and for any magazine to go through those days are just like endless hurdles in a race.
Contents is a whole different matter but if sales are still going on after 50 issues, it does mean something is going on right in there. Rest assure they won't be winning any FOLIO AWARD from NEW YORK.

I fucking love, Kieran, Boy and Joe. Boy and Joe have been so cool with rollerbladers since day one, and Kieran has always been super safe to me.

Is that a publication house or just a one man show does anyone know? Why is there suddenly a 3X mag does anyone wonder why? Do you actually see "REAL" skateboard ads inside the mag nowadays? What would you think if your mag is infutrated with 90% Hip Hop, Surfing, Non-skate related clothing brands, non-skate related shoes, Celcom, Maxis, Hotlinks, stories, games, movies, foreign events all downloaded from the internet? Would that make your mag a "real" mag or would that help line your pocket? Did you ever meet this editor covering any events? Does he really give a shit?  ? |
