With a skatepark at the Stadium just being renovated and with a skate comp just concluded as recent as just a couple of days ago.
And a new skatepark being planned and upcoming in Bandar in Kiulap soon.
And the establishment of the Brunei Skating Association
And upcoming leaders like Hj. Rezali
(But the "one and only original" the Jerudong skatepark lie in ruins)
Can Brunei Inliners recapture its glorious past?
(A very short article dedicated to Eyan and Sukrew)

Rezali (But the "one and only original" the Jerudong skatepark lie in ruins) Can Brunei Inliners recapture its glorious past? (A very short article dedicated to Eyan and Sukrew) skatepark renovation? heard of it. skate comp? heard of it. held in jerudong but skateboarders only. didn't know who won. but samsul and bahrum did a short demo. them being the only rollers there at that night. Brunei Skating Association has been around for a couple of years now. back then, the president was one of the brunei lawyer/singer/artist production house.. was quite for a while until this year, and currently the president is Jai (skateboarder) upcoming leaders like Hj Rezali? who the hell is that??? one and only original Jerudong skatepark lie in ruins? don't think so.. its not properly maintained, but it's still there and mostly skateboarders skate there. last year, i think Jai painted the skatepark there. (skatepark = only 3 ramps there.) Recapture?? sure.. why not.. we don't need BSA to do it.... Keats, and others, you're more then welcome to visit! u can crash in my place, as long as u don't mind cramping in my room;) but you'll have to wait til i get back brunei end of july.... and i should add that, from what i heard, BSA is planning to have 'tour stops' just like the xgames, but having it from each district. then the finalist gets to compete in the main 'brunei xgames' as Jai calls it. i'll let u noe if it's true or not as/when i get the confirmation

Eyan and his crew form the core of the current batch of rollerbladers in Brunei.
But Eyan also went on to win at the international level by capturing the S4S I in Malaysia last year.
It proves that Brunei inliners still have that certain magic?
And return to its glorious past?
Bahrum is the link to the glory days..more..

Ak Rezali Pg Hj Ahmad Muhammad Sadiq Hj Serbini Mohd Rizan Litif Mohd Azmi Jais Mohd Roslani Mohd Sukrin Shah Baharuddin Hi Jalili
Mr Garfield (Coach cum Manager) Mr Alizan Maiden (Coach cum Manager)
From the early 90's to the late 90's it is these above skaters that have made the Brunei scenes great and they all orgins from humble beginnings in the Jerudong Skatepark
The fomer few being the earlier ones and the later few the later ones
In those days the Brunei rollerbladers have conquered most if not all of the regional events nearer to home and stunted even Malaysian rollerbladers with what they could do
But it was in the Asia X-Games in Phuket Thailand that they made their presences felt by ranking 8th in Asia and ranked 13th in the world
The Yuri the Putra the names you want to call them at that time
Did the coaches had anything to do with their greatness during those years?
Can Baharuddin and Eyan bring back the same greatness?

was this the same garfield as the one that did Noisy Minority? You knew! Yes! It is the same Garfield who was involved with the company 2by4 that brought Noisy Minority skate clothing 2by4 started in 1994 as Australia's first inline video production company releasing their first video "Public Transport" in 1995 and the sellout video "Festival of Madness in 1996 It is in 1997 that Noisy Minority progressed into skate clothing Brunei rollerbladers were the first outside of Australia to have a taste of Noisy Minority
